Types of Custom Conversions Facebook Pixel We generally use Custom Conversions for three purposes: Measure Events and therefore optimize ads for a specific interaction that cannot otherwise be optimised Share resources with Partners (Custom Conversions can be exported) Measure specific pageviews of variables linked to conversions already tracked via Pixel; for example. Without inserting additional code, you can specify purchases or visits of a specific URL rather than generic ones of the entire website. We can therefore divide Custom Conversions into two C Level Contact List classes: Those that are based on data already in the Pixel, but which require configuration Those that require the creation of a Custom Event, from which to draw the Conversion event. For the former, we just need to use Facebook's internal builder. For the latter, we will first have to create a Custom Event ( we have a guide for this too ) to select as a Conversion action. Optimize CPC campaigns with Custom Conversions Normally Facebook and its Pixel, if installed manually, provide a series of standard events through which you can indicate a specific objective for your Ads. The conversion objective that we are going to specify is the main instruction for the algorithm.
